So after finding time to inspect my amp further, I check the power line coming from my battery, and the fuse completely melted off the side that is going to the amp, I don't know why this happened. I'm planning on buying a new fuse soon, but I don't want it to melt again, so does anyone know why or how that would happen? Thanks for the help again!

I got the other end of the fuse out it was just stuck in the fuse holder, so I bought some new fuses for now but I'll have to order some bigger fuses

This is the type of fuse holder you need under the hood, an ANL fuse, and waterproof be best. These are made by Stinger which are pretty solid blocks that last and are pretty much some of the best blocks ive ever used and still use today. You are currently using a very Cheap AGU fuse holder of which is very low quality and generally used for amp inline fuse holders of up to 60-80 amps max,and are very unpredictable as to lasting or made of good quality.Never cheap out on your main Supply blocks or inline fuse blocks. You can choose your fuse size/amperage at check out. Id recommend getting at least two more fuses to place in your console to carry for future needs.ANL fuses are pretty much bullet proof and work fantastic

Sir, that is some Cheap junk.. Please dont recommend stuff like this for main supply needs for others

If your fuse holder is melting it is NOT a fault with your ground it is with the fuse holder (or just the fuse) or you did not have it good and tight. The heat is being created at the point of resistance not 15 feet away!
