Unsure what to get for my subwoofer

]I just got this subwoofer and sub box from a friend... I believe they are 2 10" subs by Polk audio. I am wondering what amplifier I would need to get and what all I would need to set this up in my car. I also want to know how much this would go for if I were just to sell it.

what you have there is garbage.

You could pull those subs out and use them in a project like a garage radio or something.

That box is missing the 4 ports, it is not worth installing.

It was flea market junk when new.

If you are interested in getting a setup for your car you should do some reading and ask some questions in the "general" section of this forum

Cheapie subs, good brand but that's their really low budget line. Also where's the ports for that bp enclosure? (bp=bandpass)

Put them in a smaller ported box tuned in the mid 30's

They will work well

Probably 1.5-2cf for the pair

This...These are low line/entry type subs for most of us...But Honestly they do sound pretty clean in the right enclosure and take a bit of a beating. I saw 4 of these in a sealed enclosure in an S-10 a couple years ago at a show,on an old kicker amp and it hit clean and hard enough to move my beal on my hat.They do sound good though in the right enclosure.Never had a chance to see or hear a pair or more ported though
