Unrecognized wiring

That looks pretty **** close.. But i wouldnt think my 4000watt class d 1ohm stable planet audio anarchy amp could handle a half ohm load. Plus, my solo barics arent beatin like theyre gettin that much power. I dont know. I just dont know. Im gonna have to have another audio shop look at it. Or figure out where i could get a dmm to test it? Is that something i could possibly rent from auto zone? Or maybe my local car audio installation shop has to test for me?

Another thing, the guy didnt connect the remote bass controller to my amp. When thats not connected doesnt it stay fixed at a maximum setting until i connect the bass controller and turn it down? Wouldnt my speakers have blown? Keep in mind that these solo barics have less than 2 hours of play. They are FAR from being broke in. Maybe thats what im waiting on to be satisfied with the sound??

You can get one from radioshack for $20. Sears, Lowes, HD all have them..it just depends on features and amount you want to spend, but they will all measure resistance.

The only thing the bass knob does is turn down your gain from where you have it set. So whatever your gain is set at now...is exactly what you're getting. The knob just allows control.

He didnt touch any of my amp settings, or tell me what load he wired the subs to. I know nothing at all about setting amp levels, but i know people who do. Im gonna take it somewhere to get it all looked at and possibly redone tomorrow. I just thought id see if i could get some help on here and maybe get a better understanding on my own. Thanks everybody. Callin it a night.
