uninstalling system

I thought it was the negative post? That's what I've always done.

"When removing a battery from any type of car it is a good practice to always remove the negative

cable first. The reason for this is that if you remove the positive first and are using a tool made from metal and if it touches any part of the car body it will spark. When removing the negative first it won't matter if you touch the car with the metal tool while you remove it. Then the system is considered dead."

so you won't ground anything out if negative is gone
