Power?

ok well when my system is turned up my lights dont dim but when i crank the reciever up and it hits really hard the reciever like turns off and turns back on

im jsut wondering if this could be a bad ground in the reciver since it shuts off or is the system just taking so much power its turing the reciever off.. its really wierd jsut shuts off i have sony does it have like sometype of setting where if it draws too much power it shuts off

oh yeha ps. before i had my 2 12's it did this just not as much

Have you checked the wires on the HU? You are gonna get a lot of replies regarding your Hu being a Sony.....LOL but again check that all wires are not loose.

nah i think its the ground on the HU but would that cause that... yeah lol i like the hu love the setup but i dont think its ment for a 3000 watt system

You said the ground is loose??? Make it not loose.....If its not grounded it will shut off! Everything electrical has to be grounded!
