underwater speakers

okay anybody know of any full range like 4-7'' speakers that can be in and out of water and then back in the sun and be okay for at least a couple of years?

when i say in water i mean in and out of the water all day and sometimes totalty submerged.

I don't know that any speaker you'd want to use is capable of being completely submerged with no adverse effects. Even marine-use designed drivers aren't supposed to be completely underwater...

Any rubber surround, poly coned speaker that's VERY well sealed into a very well sealed enclosure could last well in and out of water for a long time.

Where are these speakers going? Like swiming pool or boat? I saw some bose speaker that had a demo inside a fish tank once, cant remember the model.

thats what im figuring. i was gonna completely seal off everything but the cone and surround inside and in a fiberglass enclosure. now to find some amps that can stand a little water damage

What you need there is an amp that needs little to no cooling. Then all you do is completely drown the circuit board in silicon.

Actually, if you took apart an amp, coverd the board in silicon...... then used individual heat sinks on all of the FET's you'd be in pretty good shape.
