underpowering subs

my thoughts exactly

I'm just trying to compare apples to apples. It doesn't matter if you're running Phass or Pyramid.

The amp that can produce the most power has the highest chance of damaging whatever speakers are connected to it.

It never fails in a "how much (or little) power can I give these subs" thread that someone says just run a quality amp that produces the same or more rms power than the speaker's rating when the fact is that an amp that has those qualities is much more likely to cause damage than an over-rated cheap amp.
ok then your saying that for example a 150w zapco not being clipped will have more of a chance of damaging the subs than a pyrimid 150w amp that is clipping? i dont agree.

So the size of your pecker is like the quality of the amp, and the gain settings are like your thrusting capability? And impedance would be how tight and wet she is.
I think that was my ex's problem, she didn't have enough admittance.

Although she had plenty of reactance - mostly reacting at me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
