Underground subs

As much as I love Rockford Fosgate amps and will never ever stop using them. Something became quickly apparent to me after I installed my T3 Audio TS series 10 inch sub over my 10 inch RF T1 in my 300zx. Fosgate power series subs are great SPL subs however when it comes to SQ no way. In terms of clarity and detail my T3 walked all over my T1. I can't speak on all of the Punch series but I used the P3 for about 2 hours and put it back in the box. My T3 also has greatttt SPL but SQ is there. The same revelation also happened several years ago with my 2 15 inch TC Sounds 1000's. No other 15 that I used matched them. These underground companies make top notch subwoofers. I can't speak for the amps. I love RF have and always will but at where I am at now in terms of my music I need more SQ and RF doesn't fit the bill anymore. In terms of pricing I would have to say that RF Power series subs are overpriced.

The box specs for box amps are the exact same and they were tested on my RF T1000-1BD at 4 ohms which gives them 700 clean watts. The differences in terms of the clarity and detail in the bass were very apparent to a point where I had to open the trunk and check if everything was right on the T3 with the wiring and box. It was like night and day. I never believed in switching out amps much because SQ is more in a top notch head unit and speakers but god ****ed the T3 was thatttt much better.
