L5's or Type R's?

I fail.
I'm throwing together a street beat build and these are the two choices with the budget and availability. They're 10's and going on a Kicker 2500.1 in trunk of an Accord. This will basically be a "disposable" build and will be torn apart right after the meter and the 3510's going back in (they're getting reconed). Just curious which one you guys think we could get louder.

Any advice on box specs and tuning would help too since I don't have time to do much testing.

Thanks.

That's what i was thinking but I have seen people putting 8-900 on the arrgs. More cone area on the L5's.

I have a feeling this thread won't get many views based solely on the title. lol.

A pair of 10's?

Pssh get the R's.

PM TommyK about how much they can take. IIRC he has only blew one Type R and that was a single 10" R on a Kicker 2500.1 on a 30 second run, popped at the last second.

Two with everything setup right should be okay.

I would go that way because I love Cadence, or I would look for something in the classifieds, but I don't have time for shipping and what not, so for the price I am getting them, those are the choices.

[Edit:] Planet audio 12's just got thrown into the mix for the budget.

You would think the solo's would be louder based on cone area, but the R's get pretty **** loud so im not really sure. I guess on account of them getting overpowered, it seems like people have had more luck overpowering the Rs than l5s
