this will be for IASCA, hopefully flyweight streetbeat. hmm, these boxes better do well enough to compete even if i do get bumped up a class. i really do not feel like building two more, these took three sheets of wood and two weekends.

Window line will be stung across both front doors with the windows down. It must be below that line.

straight from IASCA rules:

5. Vehicles equipped with OEM factory “fold down” rear seats may be folded down during testing.

but it does not say anything defining "wall".

No, it states that it can't be above the side windows either...

I don't think I quoted it from the rules but it says in the cargo area. His box is not in the cargo area it protrudes forward the back seats so he would be mod in USACi.

i have a 2000 explorer. from what i gather you can go 15.25 H without the insulation underneath the carpet. with the insulation its 14.75 h. this is what they accepted at a 3x event.

here are pics. an identical enclosure is going next to it tommorow, each speaker is a 10".

to save you some time....facing the subs forward when there pushed closer to the front like that was the worst way for spl when i did tests.

if that's just a tube, remake it as a U shape with port and sub facing the same direction...REAR.

USACi states that the glass is the part above the black factory paint too, back or sides. all gear in the rear-most or 'cargo' area of the vehicle having all available seating in the upright position and locked. They can be folded down for the run....good thing you're in IASCA.

well you can have seats folded down in IASCA and not in other organizations so who knows. i guess i will find out today.

whether the seats are up or down, it doesnt matter. all that matters is the box is under window line. and in other organizations you can fold your seats down
