umm..water in trunk after deadening lid?

Do you play your subs during the car wash?

no, i dont lol

and i took off some more deadener around the edges close to the front of the trunk... this time there wasnt AS MUCH so i took more off around the edges and tightened the bolts some more to see if that does anything

I mean like trunk wide open watching the water run down the track
and ill try that, ill update sometime again tonight.

get in your trunk and have someone spray it down with a hose from the outside
see where the water's coming in
Haha, my motor is knocking, how do i get in it and have some1 rev on it so i can see what it is? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Jk, but had to make a comment...

Lol that's what I ended up doing.. What I did made a big difference though but it still trickled in in one spot a little which d don't understand how

That's the classic diagnostic technique - done it a few times myslef.

Make sure the weather seal gasket isn't cracked or nicked and be sure it is seated properly. Doesn't take much to make faulty seal.

What about putting some of the silicon treatment on the trunk gasket? Sadly, subs in the trunk do weird things to cause leaks... usually from the bolts holding the trunk on OR the spoiler, but they do cause all kinds of weird leaks on certain vehicles. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The weather stripping should be the same as it was before I even deafened cuz I never touched that part
Should be isn't is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif It's easy to foul it up when working in the trunk.

You asked for Dampening!

and I did use a glass..after I took some more deadener off I did it and layed in the trunk an there was just a little trickle now and not as much as before..before it would be soaked so now it's just a little I gotta check it when it dries

from when i was in the trunk and what i saw.. it happened just about almost in the middle of the trunk lid

when i was in the trunk i took my light and looked all around and made sure there was no deadening touching the weather stripping, its about 2inches away from it now

dry your truck out, spray it with a hose, see where the water is coming in from.
