BTW, another reason I dont buy Foreign cars is ue to the fact the Japs call us Lazy, Imperialists and always try to out beat us especially when it comes to economics. I am NOT lazy, nor is my family. Imperialists?? Next time dont **** with us in a cowardly act. Lets not forget what they did during WW2, they were jsut as bad as the Natzi's. They will neevr forget the fact the surrendered to USA on American soil. Surrendering was never an option to them, it was a tremendous Embarassment.SO they can kiss my American ***.

Bike Junkie, Thank you for serving our country , we appreciate it. But I think you are sadly mistaken by calling American cars UNreliable and not fuel effecient. I have had 3 brand new amercian carsa,1998 GTP, 2000 Saturn and 19995 chevy blazer. Saturn went to dealership once, GTP went once and Blazeer went once, The GTP and Saturn were very fuel effecient and man did I beat that saturn. THe paint on it was great to. none of these cars had rattles either. So you are jsut as guilty as the other guy stating BS stuff. Imports and domestics ARE reliable, But like I said, my money stays here when possible. The auto industry plays a big role in our economy. Millions of our people have jobs pertaining to the auto industry. One thing I will never understand is wehn I see a WW2 Veteran driving a Jap car. Really strange to me.

ok my 89 f-150 is built like a tank, but i agree and sidagree with you on the gas my truck gets 4mpg but my dads f-250 superduty gets 16 where as our f-550 gets 9-mpg gallon its just your opiniono nwhats good gas mileage, my money likes to stay in the US hence why i buy ford, and Fosgte products

fosgate, real trucks are not fuel effecient yet, youy know that. thnik about the weight,hp,torque and gearing they have. The new nissan titans will be in the same league as the new fords,chevys and dodges when it comes to mpg. Your 89 f series drinks weigh to much man, something is wrong, needs some nice tuning. My friends 93? 454SS got 12 mpg and it was a Big Block Carb motor!

4 miles to the gallon, there is something terribly wrong, and paying high gas prices to keep money in the US? Where are we getting all the crude oil from? Ralph, I agree there is something terribly wrong with his tuning, or post, maybe he meant 14 mpg..??

The reason the 454SS trucks were terrible sellers, is becasue the lame BBC they put in there. Some small blocks had more power...they over emission'd them. I agree, its a shame that canned the lightening prototype. I saw it and it looked hot, was suppose to be 500 hp?? It will be back I bet. Because sales for the previous lightening were pretty **** good, no>

sales were very good...I saw the prototype at SEMA a year ago, 500 HP and 500 ft lbs of TQ...awesome looking truck!

no nothing is wrong my engine is far from stock weighs a ton and all that comes into play when it comes to gas mileage i just went thre the engine, changed the plugs gaskets etc and still same all because of the numerous engine mods, and i dont pay for gas anyhow
