I don't remember these being available in D2.
We did 6 in an explorer on a sundown 1500, it was loud and did well.

Go with two smaller amps, or one that does it's power at 2ohm.

It is fun to get loud with one sub, but when you do it with x3 x4 and up, you get a setup that can go for long times and has a good hurt to it. I have x3 DD 1010 setup in my car.

i was thinkin about the planet audio bb2400.1

love the lock of the amplifier and its 2 ohm stable and then when i do decide to upgrade subs i can just add another and strap for more powa

Considering the subs and power available I think you may get by with a smaller port than with high power/high excursion drivers.... That being said, I wouldn't expect to get a bandpass right the first try, you should consider making thins as non-permanent as possible until you can dial everything in to your liking.

im still stumped on whether to do a slot port or use the aero ports that galactic monkey made in the youtube vid. yea this is pretty much a shot in the dark type of build for me... what do you suggest as far a enclosure then... just dont want to do the norm (subs up port back) type of thing.
