u.s amps md2d @ .5ohm?

I have a 01 jeep grand Cherokee with 1/0 for the positive front to back also have the big 3 done. I have one FI Q but will get another one soon. I was wondering if I ran my u.s amps md2d @ .5ohm if it would be ok? I would have the gains set at 2K. After box rise I think I would be ok?

I think it should be fine......rise should help but its not like the merlins were crap amps

Well if the amp goes into protect I can just rewire to 2ohms and know that .5ohm wont work. lol

I ran a MD3D at 1/2 ohm for over a year. It got a little warm at times but still handled it like a champ.
