I like this sub.. loud bass output.. great sound quality.. it is almost the same as the JL Audio W7 but the type x is more of a spl sub and the w7 is more of a sq sub.

The W7 a SQ sub, cant say Ive ever heard that before. Anyway, judging by the new threads about this sub, it must be gaining some following, and it should because it hits hard as hell and can take well over what it is rated for

who did you here that from? i know a guy on here had some problems with it but it ended up he only wired up one coil and sent ~1500 Watts to it. which fried it very fast. i should know i bought the sub from him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif best 50 buck i ever invested.... so far.

and he said it was like a W7 but more of an spl sub. just means to him they sounded comparable...
