Then i think you could get more with another sub. Dont get me wrong, one of these things hurts my ears when i put on rap running just 1000w, but for the money you could get more. L7s, type-rs, whatever your into. I think that the Xs are some of the best sounding subs ive ever heard, but you gotta buy your subs based on what you like.

Basically my first goal is for them to be super loud, but I want them to sound good at the same time. I will be listening to mostly dance, techno, hip-hop, and rap. I want really loud subs.

well the Q's id get 15's, and the x's id get 12's due to thats what they have on ebay. If there is any other sub you reccommend id apperciate it.

Check out how the Q did on those links for SPL. It did pretty good if you ask me. Was either the loudest, or 1 or 2 dBs off from being the loudest.

I have no experience with the TypeX, however, so i can't comment on the comparison.

Thats kind of a vauge question lol. He wouldnt have recommended it if he didnt think it was good. Have you preped you vehicle for the amount of bass you are talking about? Electical as well?

I just want a sub that will get very loud and maintain SQ
