my buddy has some type x 12 and they were sealed dint really like they subs he said........he down graded and bought type r 12 and was ten times louder

Well, I oWN a Type-R, and they **** balls, I dont care what anyone here says.

Id say the TYPE-X would blow away the Type-R in a sealed box for sure, so I dunno what to say about your comment.

Im looking for people with hands on experience with ported enclosures on a Type-X.

my buddies is in around 1.8 cubes net tuned to around 32. Sound great and gets loud enough for most.

I do own one.

Ive built several boxes, sealed, and ported, and I mean it sounds ok, but nothing compared to other subs ive had.

I have a type R sitting on the shelf at home if anyone wants to buy it, make me an offer...

Im using my RF T1 12D4 at the moment, and it KILLS the Type-R. The clarity isnt there, but the boom sure the heck is, and lots of it on the same amp, same car, same boxes, the T1 blows away the Type-R.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one, this is just mine.

I've got one on an MRD-1005, 1.75 cuft net tuned to 33 and it wangs enough for me. And the bass extention is great it was loud the whole time when i sweeped it from 100 to 20 hz

I just hope its comparable to the T1 RF I have in there now, thats loud enuff for me.

didnt you write a raving review of hown great the type r was not too long ago

...on a side note i have built a 1.5 cube net tuned to 29 for a 32 for a 10 inch type x that hit hard and sounded **** good

As soon as the box gets here, mine are going in 2.0cf each at 30hz.
