type X 6.5 componants

I was wondering if anyone has used the type X componants, I purchased the infinity kappa pefect 6.1's and wasnt impressed, my budget is about $200.00 per set and i dont know if its a good idea but i was thinking of running 2 sets of componants or should i just run coaxial in the back?

so are you looking for rear fill speakers? I listend to the type-x and infinity's side by side at the store and the type-x sounded pretty balanced and not bright like the infinity's. The type-x have pretty good mid bass and warm sounding silk tweets. But if rear fill is what you are looking for then a set of type-r sould do the trick and fit your budget with left over money. about 150 on ebay

i was looking into the type x also but i fell for the amazing rainbow slcs. maybe you should look at them too

yeah i can get the Type X for 200 a set so i was leaning towards those, where can i find the rainbows online ?

The Rainbow's are a significant step, you'll enjoy the SLC's or take it further with the Germs. IMO
