definetly the alpines, hella cleaner and louder to boot....i am running 1060 watts to my 15 with no prob

if youre feeding a clean (ie non-clipped, and w/o bass boost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif ) signal, you should be able to with zero problems.

i have 2 12" type r's running off a jbl 1200.1 and it hits so ****in hard and clean.
