I clicked on this thread expecting to see that the Type R had pwned another company...boy was i ever wrong/dissapointed.
it's already a known fact that they will pwn anything, no need to beat it to death. the rest of us are just spicing up the conversation

all kidding aside rule vs rule in meca and db drag i seen 2 type r 12's do 150 flat in db drag. everything was guesstomated wasnt dialed in at all. i would bet it could do at least a 151-151.5 in street b or c. now you might go well thats a ways off the wr in db drag (3-5 db) but funnier part is its with basically at most 1/8 the power those cars have literially not to mention the cars with the actual wr's are about half the size of a crx and arent even on this contenent and are at least 2 db louder than the american best. now im not gonna say that the type r are the best to use in a db drag format (db drag basically lets you run at least 2 amps (and thats street a lol) in every class and wattage isnt a factor) but if you want to win local and pull high end 140 scores at least (145 and up) its definatly not a bad buy especially when you are and can beat cars with 2 to 3 times the amount of $ in them. also from a very reliable source meca isnt small compared to any other league infact if you were to look at america alone and go by memberships im sure you would be shocked. alot of teams have and are going over to meca. i think its funny people argue back and forth (its actually good as it sparks intrest) but as a potential buyer being swayed back and forth i would seriously look into what is avalible and if you want to compete know the rules of the org you want to join then make up your mind. if you plan on continueally adding amps by all means look into a sub that can handle more power. the more serious you want to take it the less opinion you are going to want. you will want facts and stats and not by billy bob blowing up a sub in a bad box/install/amp setting. lol any how have fun....
