Goto Wal-Mart, get one of the The Fast & The Furious bonus packs with a Lightning Audio subwoofer, amp, and prefab truck box and you won't care about Alpine or Diamond Audio ever again. I promise.

Are you going by specs or by empircal evidence?
I wouldn't trust any manufacturer's efficiency numbers.

efficiancy numbers mean poop.

used both woofs, the d6's are weak.

you have to remember.. spkrman has tested & worked with every subwoofer and amplifer known to man.

I would buy a D6 personally, but if you just want something to beat up and all your care about is getting loud then by all means, jump on the bandwagon and buy a type-R.
