SWR-1522D (Type-R) vs 12" Kicker L5s

I have my 2 Kicker L5's:

but I plan on changing my setup to 1 15" Type-R with a bigger box some where around like 4.5^3ft on my bx1605d .. that would be more than enough power for the type-r but would it be to much at 1ohm on the bx1605d.. and would the type-r be in comparison against the 2 kickers.. would it be louder or what..

well before that one was made my dad argued a couple years back i thought it was necessary to keep a spare in the back.. now i dont care... also my wheel wells get in the way..

it does haha.. trust me its loud as shit but i dont want these kickers anymore.. i'm tired of the kicker's sound ...i'd sell them to someone along with the box for $225 + shipping no questions asked

If I were choosing between 2 12" L5s or 1 12" Type R, I'd definitely go with the L5s. I don't thing you'd be bettering yourself at all by going with 1 15" Type R, in fact, I think you'd be going the opposite direction.

well i can't afford putting 2 type-r's in.. i might end up putting in a SX15 what do yah think about that

not really sure about whad be louder but i what i do know is gmonk had a bxi 1606d on a 15'' type R and he burned them up. so for the daily driving dont turn it all the way up. or if you have no electrical system you will be just fine.
