Type r - sd 2.5

I know there are a million variables with this but if you had to pick between the following two setups what would you choose?

1. Mtx 800rms thunder amp and 2 12" type r's

2. Audioque 1200D amp and 1 12" SD2.5 Subwoofer @ 2 ohms

I know what box they are in makes the difference, but what would you pick if you wanted overall better sound

The Rs are gonna want more power than 800watts
