Yeah its a trunk.. seats in the back are removed tho, so Im sure I can get there somehow.. Right now I can blow out zippo's, but thats about it.

takes alot of work to do hair trick w/ a trunk car. also which type-r's do you have seeing you mentioned a pole vent in your other thread.

what kind of car? also if you try to run 1kw each daily in the box they are in now they will probably fry b/c i dont know of any prefab that would allow them to take that kind of power.

Well what kinda box lets a sub take a lot more power? Im running them @ 500 a piece right now, but I have 720 on tap for each once I figure out my boxes.. More volume let you use more power?

I run about 700-800 RMS daily to mine in the enclosure (in sig) daily and it sounds beautiful and they handle it easily.

ill clarify my first post a lil, my 1 15 i ran off of 3111 actual rms watts, and the 2 12's are running off of anywhere from 3.5-4+kw actual rms power havent clamped it yet all i know is i smoked 2 50 amp fuses(so total of 100a) like nothing as soon as bass hit.

In theory 100 amperes worth of fusing would only be sufficient for just under 1.5kW.

also "in theory" the 3111 watts was on a 100a fuse so i guess "theories" arent always correct.

No, a large ported enclosure would yield less power handling.

Generally, a small sealed enclosure would be ideal for throwing a ton of power at a driver, but not always ideal for output purposes.

Actually, he is right. Throw a 300 RMS driver into a 15 cube box with 1000 watts and watch it go up in flames.
