just wire it out of phase
Only need to wire out of phase if you have two subs, one mounted inverted and the other mounted "normal".

Otherwise you should actually try it both ways (regular wiring and reversed wiring) and see which sounds better.

 
so any time you put 2 subs backwards, you need to wire it out of phase?

how you wire it out of phase? is it just connecting the wires backwards? the + with the - wire and the - with the + wire. but what if its dual voice coil?
