Type-R Comps

Once again the audio noob has returned. I decided eff the new 4x6s and decided to get a set of components. One of my friends has a set of lightly used Type-R comps he is trying to sell me. I was just wanting everyone's opinions on them.

Are they any good? Keep in mind, I know crap about car audio. Bout the only aspect of a car I don't know. =\

i tried getting them but i was always swayed away from them because people always tried to get me to not get them.

There a good speaker for the price. THey are a little harsh when pushed and have really no mid bass but still are better than most for the price? HOw much is he trying to get for this set? Ebay sells them REALLY cheap. Good luck with the search which ever way you go!
