what specs are yall running for 2 10's looking for box plans for them. they are hooked up to a pdx 1000.1 i searched but couldnt find anything on box sizes. alpine says 1.3 per for ported but looking for ideas on what has worked any info would be appreciated thanks.

Did you really search. The Type R is the most discussed sub on this forum ever, so much that it had its own sticky for a couple of years. I'm not sure why it isn't a sticky anymore because you guys obviously don't know how to use the search function.

The Official Type R thread and if that isn't enough I did a random search for "Type R box size" and got these SEARCH and for some odd reason you still can't find what your looking for another search using just "type r box" SEARCH

probably go with the lower end (ie. 3 cu ft.) and that may still be a little much for 10's

thats what i pretty much got when i searched and it really shows nothing for 2 10's. its for a buddy of mine so i wanted iinput for alpine guys. i was leaning toward 3.5 might just do 3 now at 33 thanks for the positive responses

Out of 3,000 posts not one guy said the box size he was running with a 10" Type R. I find that hard to believe.

is it for daily? spl? i'd say 1.75 for daily and 1.25 for spl for each sub and tune to 44 hz.
