two type x and pa amps

ok guys i have two 12" alpine type x subs, and currently im running one a3000db, and my question is if i get another one and strap em together, would it sound better with these subs, or should i get one of the qvn1-5500d the A3000db amps push 1800rms@2ohm which is what they would be run at to each sub, and the 5500 pushes 3200rms@1ohm thas not taking in account the ineffiecienes tho, whic would push the subs best out of them two, reason i goin with pa is i can get them for a really good deal
