A few months ago I ordered a P3SD210 Rockford sub and a P325.1 amp, Then I found out that the P3SD410 would be a better choice for the amp. So now I have both subs. The original plan was to put one sub and the amp behind the seat of my reg cab pickup, thats why I got shallow subs. Now I bought a car and am gonna put a sub in it. That got me thinking since I already have both of these subs could i hook them both up being that they are different? If i wired the 410 at 2 ohm and the 210 at 4 would this work or not? Or do ya think I'd be better off going with just the 410 and sell the 210? Opinions and ideas would be great, Thanks!

Yea, it will work.

You can wire the P3SD210 at 4 and the P3SD410 at 2 and run them in series=6ohm.

or P3SD210 at 1 and the P3SD410 at 2 and run them in series for 3ohm load.

or P3SD210@4 and the P3SD410@8 and run them in parallel=2.667.

The problem is the sub with the most impedance will be louder than the other sub.

I wired a 2ohm and 4ohm speaker in series and notice that the 4 ohm speaker was significantly louder(by a lot) than the 2 ohm one. I dont know how yours may turn out.

ur probably better off with one sub(but idk im not much of a basshead), maybe the P3SD410.

I think I'm just gonna use the P3SD410 and sell the 210. Don't really need that much bass, just figured I had them both. It will probably sound better with the one getting good power, rather then under powering two. Thanks guys

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
