two full sheets of MDF for two dollars

i just got back from home depot and i bought two 97x48'' sheets of 3/4 inch mdf and the girl that rung me up didnt know what kinda wood it was so she picked something off the computer that rang up as $ 1.06 and she goes hmm $2.12 please so i just smiled and handed over three bucks. haha and she didnt even ring up this drill bit i had sitting right there so two cheap sheets of wood and a free drill bit. good day for me.

When i worked at Home Depot i used to always mark it down to 51 cents and just make a lil cut in the corner or something... At least once a week id leave with like 4-5 whole sheets total for less than $10.

I went to Lowes a few months back and had a similar thing happen. I had a cart with two sheets on it, one birch, one MDF and then some other shit sittin there. The dude rings up the sheet of MDF and all the other stuff, but missed the sheet of birch. Free $40 sheet of wood ftw!

You should realize that this is why other honest ppl have to end up paying more for it.
