Two Blown Amps - With Pictures... (Zx2500.1, Viper 2500D)

Big amps has a lot of transistors or FET's in parallel, if one is blown - most certainly all parallel ones dead too. BTW, it looks like there is nothing wrong with rectifier on first pic.
Yeah, I kinda figured that just now...

Heres another picture of the two blown transistors.

How many more transistors are in parallel to those two?

All the other ones on that channel seem flawless to me.

Are you judging by their looks or by ohmmeter readings? These FET's don't belong to any channel, they are part of power supply. If the power supply down, there is a good chance that the outputs are also blown.

 
dont know much about the transistor part but the actual fixing wont be too hard if you are skilled at soldering. i grounded out my kenwood and fryed the board :

re soldered the blown out wires under the board and used it for another year after. then i sold it to my friend years ago and it still is workign fine till this day
