sup guys! 2 questions in regards to adding a second battery.

1- If I add a second battery the way it is discribed here on this picture. what size fuse do i need to use at the distro block? I am currently running 2 500/1 and 1 300/4; the 2 500/1's are protected by 2 50a fuse and the 300/4 by a 40a fuse and the fourth connection at the distro block is empty which is where the second battery is going to be connected too. (just like the picture)

2- Do i need to add a second fuse after the distro block just like the picture? and if i do; do i make it the same as the one i have at the front? (230A fuse).

thanks for your help on this guys.

what about at the distro fuse? (what fuse size) the one that connects to the second battery.

I have the same distro block with room for 2 0/1awg inputs like the picture and 4 4awg outputs just like the picture.

right now i am using 1 of the 0/1 inputs fused close to the battery with a 230A fuse and was thinking that i should use the same size fuse for the second battery right before the distro block.

3 of the 4awg outputs in the following configuration 2 of them have a 50a fuse each for the 2 500/1's the next one down is a 40a fuse for my 300/4 and the fourth is empty which is where the second battery is going to be connected. What fuse size should i use there?does it even matter if i fuse that last slot?

thanks for you help!
