two 8's that can handle 1500-2krms and sound good?

I may want to play around with some 8's for shits n giggles. The only thing i really found to do close to this would be a pair of DD 1508's, but i dont have experience with DD and am unsure if they will sound good or not

anyone have reccomendations?

DD will sound good and be loud, try them, their the best.

if you can find a pair of rli8s they will likely handle 1kw between two and most likely sound darn well
