Two 8'' W7's or Four 6.5'' W3v3's???

I know Im kinda all over the place but what about a 13.5 or 12'' W6v2 off that 500/1. Just kinda brainstorming. Bear with me...I did a 13.5 in a Accord slot ported before and it slammed!
I don't ant an spl type sloppy system, as I've said before. Just something that will suit anything from Incubus and Red Jumpsuit Appartus to Slipknot and Metallica to Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy.

You really can't go wrong with the 12W6 and 500.1 combo. That's what I'm currently running in a sealed box and it rocks in SQ and can produce good SPL as well. This is in the back of an 02 4Runner with lots of room to boot. Box is only 1.25cf and I listen to rock mostly. Metallica, Red, Breaking Benjamin, etc... Good luck!

I would go with the 13w6 sealed. Also if you end up going with the 300/4 you could run an actively crossed system using the frequency multiplier switch. Though you can find much better component systems than Type Rs. Actually if you do go active you can just buy the mids and tweets seperate. Parts express has some really nice mids and tweets to choose from.

Thanks man! I like to listen to rap from time to time so maybe Ill step up to the 13W6v2. I can get the alpine type X component sets for cheap too so I might upgrade the fronts.

Keep in mind I havent bought any equipment yet. I will be starting on sound dampening next week! I love this stuff!

Get the Type-X Pro's if you can get them cheap. Run them active off the 300/4.

What kind of crossover are you running before your amp? I currently have a Alpine 9856. Not sure of the crossover capabilities on it...any ideas on how the rears would sound. Probably should amp those too. Might just run those passive off a 300/2 or something. So that would be a pretty decent all around system!

300/4 Active on Alpine R-type or X-type 6.5's in front

300/2 Passive on Alpine R-type 6.5's rear

500/1 on 13W6v2 sealed at 1.625 cu ft.
