Simple question... soundstream vs. Hifonics???

In my opinion soundstream has a "better" background in subs and Hifonics is more the amps, now with that said, neither one is the same since the Made in US days but if you are looking at subs i would go with the soundstreams, they still have great quality products.

cool //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thanks for your input... im leaning more towards those anyways. mainly because they look like beasts...should be able to do some damage

Also... I know its kinda pointless but i wanted to try it, and seeing how i have the juice to give the splx's some clean power.. would a wall for the 2 15's be alright? i know its kinda gay but i just wanna see if i could do a 150 or at least 148's on music... is it doable???

the olympus subs have been breaking records lately and are amazing in wall setups. 150+ is not too hard with them if you know what you are doing on setups / wall ect.

contact eric or mike on the forums @ http://www.teammaxxsonics.com/forums and ask them they have both hit 150+ all the time with them.

btw Mike came from the infamous Team Livewire to work and compete for Team Maxxsonics and is highly respected in the lanes as a record holder and many time champion.

heres a little snippet from a press release about him:

Mike Stiers is well-known as a world class competitor in the lanes of dB Drag, USACi and MECA. Stiers has successfully competed in and has set multiple world records, held by these organizations. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Mike competed as part of the infamous Team Livewire and last year was chosen as Team Maxxsonic’s first Team Captain. Mike was instrumental in assembling this highly success SPL and SQ competition team, who, in their first year out, set eight world SPL records, and won a combined 224 awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places during these competitions. Amazingly, 145 of these coveted SPL competition awards were for 1st place finishes.

Stiers is the proud owner of the Worlds Loudest Dodge Neon, sporting 8-kilowatts of Maxxsonics Autotek MM 4000.1D power. Attesting to the highly efficient nature of the Autotek Super D-Class amplifiers, Mike obtained the incredible record of 153.6 dB SPL (with all the equipment in the tiny Neon’s trunk) using dual Autotek MM 4000.1D’s powering a pair of 12-inch subwoofers. All this mega-watt gear was running from a single 12-volt car battery! So far in 2006, Mike holds the World Record in dB Drags’ “World’s Loudest Bass Race” vehicle with an SPL of 158.3dB.

and that was in a box in a sealed trunk! using 2 olympus 2412 subs each getting 4000 watts so you can imagine how loud they get in a wall //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

what vehicle? in my s10 i was doing 149's sealed up on music. i had a wall with 2 15"s, it wasnt sealed off to the vehicle though, it probably could of been louder. it was my first wall too, so lessons learned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

but i cant say its "easy", but its not out of the question to do 150 w/ 2 15"s DAILY ON MUSIC. you'll probably need 4kw+ tho
