two 13w7 bandpass enclosure

Thanks. If you are looking for flat response from 20hz-70hz, put the rear in 5-6cf sealed (bigger if possible) firing into 3.5-4 cf tuned at around 60hz, with about 100 sq. in. of port.
I am thinking I will need to build it in two sections so that I can get it into the trunk. The sealed one that is in there now just barely clears the trunk opening. Do you have ideas for that?

I have paid three different places to do my &%#$ and it still doesnt sound right. Two of them were JL authorized dealers. I have decided if it is going to be effed up its going to be my fault. So its diy time.
look for the 'deathbox2' in the speaker section of this site, its for a 12 but you could mod it for a 13 easily, and its tuneable to your vehicle / preference.

you'll need 2.

ive built several, they work very well

12 INCH DEATHBOX MODEL DBK212

NOTE: To understand this box you should be familiar

with the 10" Death Box first!

Dimensions are 14 x 14 x 32.0 inches!

Like it's little brother, the new 12 inch Death Box is easy to build. It has a self sealing lid eliminating the need for gaskets. Designed for compound loading of 2) 12's it features a removable insert making it easy to install the woofers, and tune the box. And of course don't forget, the DBK212 will work with most car audio 12" subwoofers* and can be tuned AFTER BEING PLACED IN YOUR CAR!

I am looking at a total of 5 to 6 cubes. I need to do some measuring to see if I can squeeze anymore cubes out of the trunk

I appreciate it and after reading, it sounds like a cool box. But I am looking for something a little more custom. thanks

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that the bandpass is just going to be too big for the trunk. Now my idea, (some thanks to jay) is to make ported enclosure for both subs. First the subs will face up toward the rear dash. I will fiberglass a tunnel from the sub faces through the rear deck. (rear deck is already cut through) And the port will come through the front of the box and go through the armrest through the back seat. The point is to get all the bass coming into the cabin and no bass in the trunk (no trunk rattle) I just dont want people outside the car just hearing the trunk rattle. I want em to hear the subs. I dont want to use the car to annoy neighbors, just to show off with.

Will this work and sound good? Should I expect any cancellation? Or is this ideal. I want to build the box for the last time. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciate, or made fun of depends on the comment.
