Well this is going to be my first time trying to install a set up on my own and im gonna sound like a total noob but I want to make sure I don't miss any details when I wire up my sub tomorrow. My wiring kit came with 12 gauge twin lead speaker wire so is each strand of wire a 12 gauge or will I have to remove the jacket and twist the copper for it to be 12 gauge. It looks like this.
