Not at all! Horns have been used in car audio for years. However, they have to be setup, mounted, and imaged perfectly for good results.

Some people like 'em - some don't. I have never heard them, so I don't know. But I do know that Richard Clark's famous Grand National SQ car used horns - so there ya' go.

true, car stereo is all about the install. i guess laying scattered on the back dash doesn't qualify as a "install". but they didn't sound like they had any potential at all. also, do you think richard clark bought his off e-bay? he prolly had some we never even heard of.

True dat, true dat.

I was just pointing out that they have been used with great success.

Of course, laying them on the rear deck spliced into existing speaker wires doesn't really qualify as "successful" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
