tweeters shuting down at high volume?

so this is my first post here and ive got 2 nice set of component speaker EVR(evervictory) V-62HU, its a chinese company that makes my dads products but they are pretty nice speakers with silk dome tweeters,

but ive noticed that when i push them really hard the tweeters will stop performing and i will lose almost all of my treble i was wondering if anyone here may know why that is, they do return after i lower the volume it takes them probably 30 seconds to a minute to return to normal

Probably the tweeter protection circuit kicking in.
X2 Crossover is triggering them to turn off. If it doesn't, they go hiss hiss *smoke*

You could go active or upgrade the crossovers.
