Tweeters in install not loud at all..

It did! DidUHearThat?=Smart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Thanks so much
Easy way to solve your question (if it isn't sarcasm)... "Teen, did you read the whole post or no?"
****. reading> half the ppl in here.

why would you even assume my post was sarcasm? if the OP posts a question, somebody replys with an answer and the OP comes back and says " thanks, that worked" i dont see how thats doesnt help resolve the issue? amirite?

**** your necklace.

so your saying what he thinks to have worked is basically just an illusion of his mind and in fact it didn't work at all?

no- I believe that hooking up the mids would solve the problem of output, however the assumption that it is because it has change the load, output or freq response of the tweet is incorrect. He had previously stated the mids had good output when the tweeter was not hooked up;)

did you read the link I posted?

again, the best way to figure out which one is right is to learn the reasons why something works the way it does.

LOL- I have a special shark repellent necklace and there are no sharks around my house, so therefore my special necklace works.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Sorry, I never saw him post that it works...... did you read where someone posted that tweeters themselves are not all that loud? This is very often true and the mids do the largest chunk of the works because this is where a large chunk of instrumental and vocal information is recorded.

pro audio engineer for 20 years.... wow, those are some serious credentials..... Sorry I am only a hobbyist so obviously not as smart about audio as you.

here is a link to help you understand.

http://www.bcae1.com/trimodpd.htm

start at the part where it says tri-mode with different types of speakers. I will post a couple sentences from it. and before you start congratulating yourself about how smart you are and how you told us, you might want to spend some time on that site...it is excellent and would probably be of great value to you in your chosen profession.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

No one is running tri-mode here. The issue is the effect of a passive crossover with one driver missing. This has NOTHING to do with the amplifier, only the passive crossover. I was proven right by the OP before you came and shit in this thread. Read more, post less, and you might learn something.

LOL- are you serious??? so you are unwilling to learn concepts that relate to an industry you make your money in?

You apparently also don't understand how running different speakers at different frequencies does not effect the load, output, impedance or freq response of the others.

I posted the try mode link because it is a simple explanation of these principles. The principles that are in opposition to what you have stated.

I value understanding and definitely don't post much, I do read more than I post. However if you take the time to understand the concepts presented you would understand how what you were stating was incorrect.

Also you were not proven right, it was proven that with the speakers hooked up it was louder. The same way my shark repelling necklace is proven to work. You should try and read what was presented and gain some knowledge rather than prove yourself right.

SO far I have presented links and information supporting the principles which I have presented. I would appreciate you doing the same rather than just puffing out your chest.

"Tri-mode"? You think your going to school me about how audio works? LOL! FYI, I have been making my living as a pro audio engineer for almost 20 years.
Having 20 years experience is nice, but I didn't know it has the side-effects to turn you into an arrogant POS.

I don't even care for passive xovers.

have fun arguing

James' car is an exception - His "tweeters" will rip your head off without a mid:D

I agree, I prefer to not have passives too..
