hi, i need to replace a pair of blown tweets from pioneer 6.5 comps so i want very bright tweet not harsh, for less than 50 bucks shipped from eBay they are too many but i don't know which one sounds nice and will not burn easy again I'm pushing 70 W RMS to those comps i saw alpine, infinity, memphis, massive, etc help me with this!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You really need to know the xover point of your comps, to get a good replacement.

Madisound & parts express sell a LOT of good tweeters. Look for a metal tweet as normally they're very bright.

i think ts-c1653! i don't care the x-over I'm going to use the one that comes with the tweeter i just want to know which one sounds better?

I can't find any info on the crossover point online. I'd ask them first if I were you.

When they give you an answer, then we can better match a set of tweeters to your component set.

Here is some helpful info...Try a set of Pioneer TS-S250 You can do a search on Ebay...These things are loud and clear and should take 70watts with ease....Plus they have the built in crossover your needing....

There are two models of Seas car-mount style tweeters, aluminum or fabric dome at Madisound that are both supposed to be very good.

I suggested finding out your comp set's xover point as the replacement tweeter "might" not match up to it, but if you just want plug & play and don't care about the sound then anything will work...
