Yeah, I know, I'm a noob but have been lurking around here for a while.
I'm about to install a new stereo in my Mustang and had a wiring question. For four main speakers I got Infinity Kappa 6x8 that are 2ohm speakers. They have separate inputs for the woofer and tweeter (4ohm each) making it a 2ohm load when connected. I have tweeter pods that I want to add an extra set of Infinity Kappa tweeters. With the 6x8's going to 2 ohms how would I wire in the tweeter and what effect will it have on the amp. I want to use both the tweeter on the coax speaker and the separate tweeter up front. The amp is a profile 4 channel that is 2ohm stable. Will this cause the front speakers to go to 1 ohm if I add the tweeter? I can go to 4 ohm if needed and lose 25 wrms, if that's the only choice, but how do I wire it? I did try several searches, but my searching skills are not nearly as good as my bowstaff skills, GOSH!
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
