tweeter polarity?

Yeah, the "polarity" doesn't really matter anyways; you should try them in every combination (polarity wise) and just leave them how the sound best. So just plug them in however and start flippin' wires till you find the combo that sounds best.

You can't EQ out cancellation there stud-muffin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif If the frequencies are gone, they are gone. Plus where the frequencies interact with each other will change the soundstage; again, not something you can fix with an EQ.

 
I have been suffering a similar problem with my Koda Comps. The MIds sound like they are coming from a tin can...especially vocals and alto sax...etc.

I thought it was the door locations in my Tacoma causing the problem. Maybe it is the polarilty??? Any comments?
