Tweeter Placement

I am about to fiberglass some door pods for my components and was wondering if I should mount the tweeter in the pod or only mount the woofer in the pod and then play around with the tweeter placement. At first I was going to just make a pod for the woofer and play around with the tweeter, but I thought that this might look wierd. If I do mount the tweeter in the pod, how do you suggest that I aim them?

THe way I remember was that you just put them there temporary (with velcro) and see if you like them, mix it up every day till you find the placement you like. Theres nothing worse then building somthing for hours and not liking it...

Yep. Or use double sided sticky tape and adjust one component at a time. By that I mean play with the tweeter aiming until you are happy with the image and height. Get ahold of a good quality setup CD (like maybe the Autosound 2000 CD) to help with judging your success.

After you're happy with the tweeters, move on to the mids. THEN f/g everything into place.
