tweeter ohm?

I have ex540 cdt crossovers and the speakers are 4 ohm. When i hook it up to the cross over it puts the tweeters at 1ohm and woofers at 4 ohms is that normal. Tweets are tw25

Why are you making measurements with speakers connected to crossovers?

Is there something wrong otherwise? Are they not making any sound? Put your ear next to it, you'll know if it's working.

Your meter can't distinguish one component from others that are wired in circuit. You're measuring the crossover and the speaker and the speaker wire.

You aren't measuring the tweeter only when you measure it with the crossover connected, you're measuring the entire circuit.

Is there a problem you're having with the setup or were you just curious?

The tweets seem bright and i didn't want to blow them if they are 1 ohm. I just found it odd. BC on the crossover using a ddm i put it on the woofer and it was 4 ohm and tweets where measuring 1 ohm

Brad, they're not 1 ohm tweeters. If they sound bright adjust your equalizer or aim them a bit off axis(or more off axis).

Measure the leads from the tweeters off the crossover to determine the load.
