Tweeter location in 96 grand cherokee

I will be installing my first set of components in my jeep but was wondering where would be the best place to mount the tweeters?

The 6.5 mid will be in the lower door panel, so should I mount the tweeter down there near the mid?

I can also mount them on the A pillar that runs along the windshield, or even right at the bottom of my windshield there is a place where a stock tweeter should mount but I believe this will fire them at the windshield.

I don't really want to do the kickpanels because there is not much foot room to begin with and I am not good at fabricating.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Test them. Great thing about tweeters is they dont need an enclosure. Do ur 6.5"s first then move ur tweeters around (tape them if u have to) until u find the sound u like. Then mount them there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i have my tweeters at the bottom of my windshield where the stock ones were and they sound pretty good, definitly noticeable.

My Jeep didn't come with stock tweeters. How did you mount your tweeters in the stock location?
