I personally like plasma....run 3 of them....70-50-42.....great picture HD...I will mention though that they put off a lot of heat and love electricity.....I really like my 42"....

LCD, I have owned both. LCD is a little brighter and doesnt need to be recharged after 3-4 years. On a 50 inch Samsung the recharge was like 300 bucks

For some reason at retail stores in different parts of the world salespeople often tell consumers that they should not purchase a plasma display because the pixel cells have to be periodically recharged. Who knows where they get this information. It is completely false.
