turn car on and radio goes in quiet mode?

The title about sums it up. Whenever i turn on my car the radio just goes into limp mode and makes a static type noise when it happens. My systems all stock but the door speakers atm, the car came with an amp under the passenger seat but all the connections are secure. As im driving if i turn the wheel sharp or hit the brakes the radio will cut in and out of the limp mode, i'd swear it's a loose wire somewhere grounding out but theres none to be seen and my entire car interior is currently stripped bare so i can clearly tell that's so lol. Any suggestions?

no lol, but it did start happening a little after i removed the 8 disc or whatever cd player from the back in the hatch. I'll get some pics up of the h/u, i'm debating whether or not to just get an aftermarket one cause this ones not too shabby and im just looking for some average joe tunes atm.
