turbusa's dyno #'s......

holy crap.
bikes that fast should be illegal ha.

0-220 in less than 25 seconds. WOW
yea....his scares ME.

That bike also has around 540 HP, and looks close to stock, until he starts it up. Its also only 2" longer than stock.......

good times

Guys I just wanna give an update in the dragstrip times since my newfound turbo busa power.

Since the lesser power, I've been constantly going to the strip, and widdling my times down almost every week. For the last few weeks, however, I've been stuck @ 8.11 @ 179 and was getting pissed that I couldnt better myself.

Well, after some tuning and shake down runs last nite, on the second to last run of the nite, I FINALLY broke into the 7's, w/ a personal best ever on a bike..........

7.98@184!!!!!

I was soooo excited that I blew the last run, but didnt even care about it. It was finally cool later in the evening, and I just hooked the best I ever have, and I knew by the 60' that I had it.

I an just so relieved that my and my friends work finally paid off, and I'll keep you posted for I will be @ Cecil County Dragway in Maryland Friday(tomorrow) nite.

Thats awesome, i'm happy for you!
So you're running less power right now?

no...I was in the 350 range @ the wheel before, and I now have just over 400 @ the wheel. Its only 50 rwhp more, but its like a whole new animal to ride because the suspension is maxxed out now. Its a crap shoot on every pass. 1 run, I'll launch and spin thru 4 gears, and the next, I'd just lift the wheel, and abort, and the next, it'll be a good pass. Between the high boost, and the aggressive clutch, its a lot of work becoming consistent, buy I think its coming together now.

snap. i think when you're riding something that light it's not a matter of only 50 hp, even if you are at 400 already. must be a beast, i'd love to ride a bike like that. Even though you probably have to idle it on the highway.

i seen the second vid u posted a couple years ago. but it never gets old, shear ownage. i love seeing busa's on the road they get a thumbs up from me everytime.

Yea....that bike is actually a historical bike for us busa guys. It had the VERY BEST of all the parts on it....it even had 1 off suspension parts right off a AMA bike, and the whole thing cost very close to $75,000.

I, however have, bike included, close to $24,000 into it. W/ $6,000+- more, I can have it up to 550 rwhp, and redo the whole suspension, but that will be a future project. I love trying to get the most I can out of a setup, and will not change any parts until I do so.

I will only need to get a new air shifter, because the 1 I have on there now doesnt like shifting under 25+ lbs of boost.

The bike will now finally destroy my car @ the track, but on the street from a roll, the car OWNS the bike until 180, when the car just runs out of gear. I've been a best of 8.25@171 w/ the car, so its getting there.

Thanks for the compliments

yes, I ride it 4-5 times a week.
You cruise 4-5 times a week on a bike with a extended swingarm?

I bet it likes the dragstrip more than the street corners. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

It still takes corners fairly well, as long as I dont take sharp turns and corners super fast. If ridden properly, you would not be able to tell its extended.

Its not too bad @ all really.
