Tuning opinions please

I'll be building a new L slot ported box soon for my Power acoustik 15.I know some of you will knock on my sub but I like it so that's all that matters.Using Re's site my port will be 5.5 in wide 70sq.in of port area,just wanted to know is there a big difference between 30hz-35hz as far as tuning goes.The box will be about 4.3 cubes before disp.Going into a 2 dr cavalier.Thanks

Not a huge difference....youll get slightly "louder" sounding lows. Like I said, won't be a huge difference however....bass will probably roll off slightly smoother too.

I just went from 30Hz to 35Hz with 2 15" RL-P's and I didn't care for it. Did get louder and had more punch, but lost the low end boom.

Going to try 32Hz for a hopefully good compromise...

I've never been dissappointed with 30hz. Depends on how much low end you really want/care for.

See i'm all about that low end boom,I've noticed when I play young jeezy the box I have now does not hit the lows like I want it to.I think I will tune to 30hz to see what i've been missing.Good luck on your new box too!
